David joined One North East in January 2009. A Town Planner by profession, David worked first in local government economic regeneration before spending 20 years in management consulting with KPMG and Atos Origin. David has contributed to many financial initiatives including Coalfield, Urban Regeneration and Tourism regeneration strategies in both the public and private sectors. David has also undertaken major business change programmes in central and local government clients. His current role is to focus investment on programmes that will have a strategic economic impact in North East England.
